Fabric Care Guide
Every Dori & Dye piece is made to be worn often and loved long. Find your kurta's fabric on its label and follow the care below.
Polyester (Printed & Slub)
- Cold machine wash on gentle cycle, or hand wash
- Use mild detergent; no bleach
- Dry inside-out in shade — keeps prints fresh
- Low-heat iron only; never wring or twist
Cotton
- Cold hand wash when possible; gentle machine cycle is fine
- Wash separately before first wear
- Dry inside-out in shade to keep colours bright
- Warm iron on the reverse side while slightly damp for best results
Viscose
- Gentle cold hand wash only — viscose is delicate when wet
- Do not wring; press water out gently between towels
- Dry flat in shade, away from direct sun
- Iron on low heat on the reverse while slightly damp
Rayon
- Cold hand wash with mild detergent
- Do not soak for long; do not wring
- Dry in shade on a flat surface or padded hanger
- Low-heat iron on the reverse side
Embroidered styles (any fabric): turn inside-out before washing, and avoid ironing directly over the embroidery — iron on the reverse or place a thin cotton cloth over it.

Between sizes? Size up for a relaxed fit, size down for a closer fit. Kurta sets are bought by your chest measurement.
